FLIMS 12: An opportunity for junior paediatric haemato-oncologists!
The annual joint ECCO - AACR - EORTC - ESMO Workshop on 'Methods in Clinical Cancer Research' Is to be held in Flims, Switzerland from 19-25 June, 2010.
This 12th intensive workshop represents a unique opportunity for European junior oncologists, in any clinical research specialty area, to learn from the experts the essentials of clinical trial design.
'FLIMS' is a highly regarded training opportunity for junior paediatric haemato-oncologists and we urge you to encourage your doctors in training to apply.
This year, SIOPE has decided to sponsor two of the selected candidates with a proposal in the field of clinical trial development in childhood cancer. Last year, we were also able to offer two fellowships and their experiences are depicted in our newsletter (see 'Publications' section).
The deadline for online application is Friday, 12th February 2010. The two selected SIOPE participants will be awarded a fellowship covering the cost of the Workshop, part of their travel costs, full board and hotel accommodation during the Workshop.
