An important policy event will take place on 7 September 2016 at the European Parliament. This Conference aims to raise awareness on the challenges deriving from the implementation of the current EU Paediatric Regulation and the need for its urgent review to boost access to life-saving innovation for children and adolescents with cancer.
This event is hosted by Elena Gentile MEP (S&D, IT), supported by Glenis Willmott MEP (S&D, UK), and co-organised by the MEPs Against Cancer (MAC) European Parliament Group, Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and SIOPE. It follows the successful SIOPE-MAC event of 2015, which marked the official launch of the SIOPE Strategic Plan in the EU policy arena. By focusing on the Paediatric Regulation, this year’s conference addresses specifically Objective 1 of the SIOPE Strategic Plan – Innovative therapies.
Registrations are now closed, and confirmation of registration will be provided by the end of August 2016.
