Artificial Intelligence and Big Data:
Towards the next frontier in paediatric cancer research and innovation in Europe

Hosted by MEP Patrizia Toia (IT, S&D)

SIOP Europe will once again mark the International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on 18 February 2020 through an event kindly hosted by MEP Patrizia Toia at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Each year more than 35,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer, which makes paediatric cancer remains a major public health and societal issue in Europe.

The European paediatric and oncology community, together with parents/patients/survivors representatives, invites the new European Parliament to sustain and reinforce its support of the paediatric cancer cause.
